Eaton Preserve, located at 23604 West 135th Street in Plainfield, Illinois, is a historic park and tourist attraction with a rich history dating back to the 19th century. The property was originally owned by the Norton and Eaton families for 157 years before being acquired by the Park District. Visitors can explore remnants of the original farm and homestead while enjoying the park's amenities, including an improved canoe/kayak launch site, volleyball and horseshoe courts, and a .90-mile asphalt trail that is part of the proposed 29-mile DuPage River Trail.
