“We recently got married in the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point. The most amazing staff and service. The location is beautiful and food even more so. 100% recommend for a get away. And if you are looking for a wedding location look no further. Robyn part of the wedding team is exceptional. We could not have asked for a more professional, friendly wedding planner! Excellent at her job and such a Lovely person! 5 stars!”

“We are just back from an overnight stay in the beautiful luxurious Old Grounds Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularily Lydia Lynch. Her care and thoughtfulness stood out as we waited for a table in the restaurant. She was polite and professional and an asset to any establishment. We will certainly be back again.”

“We Had a fantastic 2 night stay here , great service and friendly staff . A lovely meal in Harry's restaurant. The room was spacious and immaculate. Close to all the local amenities and the castle . The market and shopping area is very close too. We would definitely look to returning here in the future and highly recommend this Hotel for anyone visiting Limerick.”

“We had the most amazing stay at Kinnity Castle. The grounds are so beautiful and they have wonderful walks on site. The hotel itself is stunning and is like stepping back in time. So tranquil and comfortable. The staff can't do enough for you. A special shout out to Aisling who ensured our stay was amazing! Loved it and can't wait to be back!”

“Popped in today for food. We live locally. Carvery often gets bad press, this carvery is excellent! Roast beef was succulent tasty and lean which is my preference. Gravy was so tasty and the roasties and veg plentiful!!! The veg actually tasted like they should not soapy as I've found in other places. Staff were attentive friendly and unobtrusive. Really enjoyed it, will be returning soon!!!”

“We only stopped over night here on a short break but the hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the meal. Rooms are fairly basic hotel rooms but had everything we needed and we're clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area. The number of local walks that you can do beginning at the hotel is huge. A great time had by all.”

“We had our Christmas party here. The staff were all really nice. The room was very warm and the food was excellent. Breakfast was a full buffet including sausages and the full Irish works. Our evening meal was gorgeous although some of our party did feel that the portion of Turkey and ham could have been a bit more generous, but overall we had a lovely stay here.”

“Had Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Ate in the dining room. It was excellent, proper home cooked roast beef. Service was fast and friendly even though it was busy. Very reasonably priced for what we got.”

“We attended afternoon tea at Glenlo Abbey yesterday as a treat for Christmas and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived the views were breath taking and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially the doorman and our server. Food and cocktails were delicious, which we followed with a relaxing walk around the grounds. A wonderful afternoon spent in beautiful surroundings.”

“This review is for the hotel restaurant. It's amazing! Specifically, the Atlantic Seafood Chowder. I love all kinds of seafood chowder and this is the best ever. I'm not sure how it's possible for chowder to be so delicious. Part of the taste might have been enhanced from walking around this beautiful island all morning, petting horses, marveling at the stone fences, and walking in the ice cold Atlantic. But I don't think so. I think the chowder is simply blessed by unseen miraculous powers rendering each bowl a Unesco heritage site of taste and flavor.”

“Paid for a deluxe room , it was very clean with beautiful decor. Full hairdryer iron , ironing board and kettle in the room. . Plenty of coffee and tea sachets.. two waters provided also . Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good value We also ate in the restaurant and couldn't fault the food or service. Highly recommended this hotel”

“Spent three days at Ryan's Hotel in Cong, Dennis and the rest of the folks that work at the hotel, the Fennel Seed resteraunt and the Crow's Nest pub are awesome. The food at both the pub and resteraunt was outstanding. The hotel is centerally located with a ton of destinations within a couple of hours away. If you are a fan of the movie The Quiet Man, most of the movie was filmed in Cong and the surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again on my next trip.”

“We had the Bartra suite. Huge room, beautiful views. Wonderful shower. Restaurant had good vegetarian options and the spa was great. We enjoyed a full body massage, seaweed bath and enjoyed the Jacuzzis. Really relaxing couple of days.”

“Staff in this hotel are amazing, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are large, comfortable, modern and tastefully decorated. There was live music on Friday and Saturday night with a trad band on Sunday evening. Leisure centre is great with large pool and excellent selection of gym equipment.”
