Frida's Sip n' Paint Hobart
“Booked in as a small bridal party group celebrating my friend's upcoming wedding. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The team went the extra mile and even got my friend a small gift to wish her well for her upcoming wedding- a beautiful and thoughtful touch that moved my friend. We all walked away completely floored that we had been able to create such amazing pieces of art. Will definitely be booking in again at some stage!”
The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart
“The view from the room was stunning with a lovely bed and bathroom. The staff were attentive and quick. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and beautiful. If I could offer one warning, it seems like they only offer a la carte breakfast on the weekdays. To go from a virtually limitless buffet one day to an extremely limited menu the next day was jarring.”

BOUNCEinc Hobart
“My daughter and her friends had an awesome party hosted by a Alison. She was great, she took care of the kids showing them all the activities so I could sit back and relax. The party room was spacious and everyone got a plate of food each which was more than enough. The kids loved the trampolines, rock climbing and most of all the high ropes and bridges. We all got a free entry to use for next time. I'd definitely do another party there.”
Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart
“We stayed at room 1221 over the weekend and it was absolutely lovely staying there. Location was close to everything. The view was amazing. Room was very good size for twin deluxe. Their shower gel and lotion smells amazing. The bathroom needed a bath mat i think to prevent slips for safety purposes.”
RACV Hobart Hotel
“Goodness me this place is awesome! Great location on Collins Street means you’re close to shopping (Cat & Fiddle Arcade) and food options (Pot Sticker Dumplings, Little India, Cafes) and easy walk around the city centre. 5 min downhill walk to the hospital (if that’s why you’re in Hobart….) Lovely and professional staff swapped our room for one with a bath and balcony and reconfigured the beds from king to 2 singles no fuss. Brought us room service water after the kitchen had closed, beautiful people. Bonus – if you stay on a Monday night the Hobart Bellringers practice at St Davids Cathedral in Macquarie Street (one street over) so that was amazing to hear. Highly recommend.”

“Hands down, best wedding place I've been to! Damien is a dream to work with, he made sure our wedding ran silky smooth! The food was fantastic, a great variety on offer, and absolutely no risk of running out! The venue is fantastic, the gardens offer so many great places for photos, and the old buildings are awesome. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and know exactly what they have to do and when. I absolutely can't recommend this place highly enough, I hope to be back for more weddings in the future!”

Cascade Gardens (Public Park)
“Ok, I could spend all day here as happy as a pig in mud. Walked up from the CBD and visited to Woman’s prison on the way. Absolutely needed a tall cold froffy when we got to the Cascade Brewery and they didn’t disappoint. Lovely views down the valley, nice spot to have a bite and the staff are fantastic. The only downside after a few pints was the walk back to the city - c’est la vie.”
Rock it Climbing Centre
“Coming here and climbing definitely is one of my best things in this year. Thanks my colleague Stan for introducing me to climbing! This is my thing. I have had wonderful time here with my friends! Staffs are so nice and friendly! I also met a lot of beautiful people, Roxy, Emma, Lisa, Alice, Greg. And so many names I don’t know how to spell. I wished I could say goodbye and take photos with you. And I was hoping I would come back and see you all here! I will keep climbing in the future. I will miss you.❤️ btw I made it on difficulty 17!!”
Salamanca Arts Centre
“I loved going here. It's so beautiful and the artwork is so nice. I use a cane to get around so the option of the lift was nice - there were some stairs but nothing too hectic”
Franklin House - National Trust Tasmania
“A wonderful glimpse into Tassie's past. Well worth the visit. Take your time and linger on into the federation gardens, hear the echoes of childrens voices long silenced in the upstairs dormitory and the patter of tiny feet in the old school room. Enjoy the architecture, the antiques and explore the old kitchen and stables full of collectibles and memorabilia.”
Putters Adventure Golf
“It was a great outing with the kids, 5yo not really interested in the golf side, but the free play area (jumping castle and play gym) was a highlight for her and the others enjoyed the arcade after the mini golf. We played the indoor course, fun for all and I would say quite challenging if you were really competitive and playing properly. There are some stairs to take you onto the different levels. Was sad to see we were the only ones enjoying this business, considering it would be activity, people could enjoy in these times. Clean and COVID safe, sanitizer etc.”
