Boiling Pots
● OpenBoiling Pots is a popular tourist attraction located at 1766 Wailuku Drive in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Visitors are advised to monitor local surf and weather reports before visiting the park. The park consists of two separate areas along the Wailuku River, each offering viewpoints of geologic and scenic interest. The Boiling Pots area features a series of large pools connected by underground flow or cascades, with waters that appear to roll and bubble like they are boiling. The pools are lined with hexagonal columns formed by the slow cooling of basalt lava.
