"My mom found Breakthrough for me when I was 16 years old. I had the slight motivation to get sober and my mom knew that she didn’t have much time to get me in somewhere before my motivation was gone. I was at Ridgeview for the 28 day program and myself and the case manager there agreed I needed more time. I spent a little over 5 months at Breakthrough. It created an environment where I could have my full attention on my recovery and not worry about outside issues. We went to a 12 step meeting every day and I still go to meetings now. All of the staff at Breakthrough have played a part in why I am sober today.
