"My mom has been coming here for YEARS! And has always raved about it. Today was my 40th birthday and as a surprise my mom let me take her appointment for a cut, dye, wash, and style. Cindy was the main stylist I worked with and the one my mom has been going to for years. She is amazing. So sweet! In fact, she told me all about how she’s not only worked on my mom’s hair but also my sister’s, dad’s, and even my nieces’! I was just the last to find out how truly incredible their work is lol First Cindy listened to what I wanted in terms of a cut and followed through. Second, she asked what color I’d been using myself from Sally’s. She suggested going darker to prevent the faster fade so we did. She also wanted to make sure I could keep up with the darker shade even if I didn’t return to her so she told me what shade to go with instead which I thought was very thoughtful. After part one of the cut and applying and letting the dye sit for 30 minutes, I was taken back to have my hair rinsed, washed, and my head massaged. I did not catch the woman’s name who did this but she nearly put me in a trance like state, it was so relaxing. Also, and it’s been awhile since I’ve been to a salon beyond Great Clips, but their washing chairs were actually bed like. This was so much more comfortable than craning one’s neck. After my tranquility time, I returned to Cindy. She did a little more cutting and then blew dry my hair. She asked if I wanted my bangs straightened. I told her I didn’t mind doing that part at home but she made sure to take care of it herself anyway which was very sweet. I left feeling very well taken care of and even though it was my first time there, like I’d been there 100 times before. It was a great experience. And I LOVE my hair! It isn’t always easy to work with as it is very thick, I’d let it go a bit too long between cuts and color, and I have cowlicks. But they made it seem easy breezy. :) My mom had already foot the bill, being the amazing person that she is. I know it’s a bit more expensive than Great Clips of course BUT according to my mom who has been going there as long as I can remember, you cannot beat their prices for the quality of work they do."
