"Compliments to Mark Rafferty. Dear Peter Glenn. My wife and I came in to look at ski boots today. We were greeted with someone so nice, calm and knowledgeable. He was patient and helped us make some great ski gear decisions. You have to know that I started out reluctantly - and was considering buying in beaver creek CO. But Mark quickly used his knowledge to fit my wife perfectly and then the same for me. So guess what? He politely asked if I was interested in skis and of course I wanted his opinion. We walked out with: new boots, skis,bindings, poles, boot bags, ski bag, gloves and socks. I had a great experience shopping with Mark Rafferty. What a knowledgeable gentleman. Many thanks. "My review is for Steve in the snowboard boot department. He was extremely nice and patient with us during our first time trying on boots. He was breaking down the differences, styles and got us a few different kinds to try on knowing we weren't ready to purchase just yet. Will Def return here. Much better experience here than at Rocky Mounttain ski and patio."

"Excitement to explore the store and potentially purchase hiking gear quickly faded as our experience turned sour upon entering. I approached the gentleman behind the counter with a question, only to receive a rude and abrupt "no" in an angry tone. Despite doing a walk around, his unpleasant attitude discouraged us from buying anything or considering a return visit. Notably, I had my dog with me, but there were no signs prohibiting animals, and if it was an issue, a polite request would have sufficed. We won't be returning."

"Nicole (and Jim) at PG are the BEST. Season after season, Nicole guides me as she continues to better understand my skills and ability, and she and Jim inevitably lead me to the perfect solution. I'm a much better skier thanks to Nicole's patience and expertise, Jim's perfect fittings and the simple excitement I leave the store with after each visit. Regardless of your skill or knowledge, you will leave PG feeling comfortable, confident and wishing you could ski straight out of the parking lot.
