Under the leadership of Chief Charles Wasdin, our team consists of 35 full-time, part-time, and volunteer firefighters who are always prepared to respond to emergencies and provide essential fire protection services. Our strategic positioning includes two main stations within the City of Hazlehurst: one at 31 Pat Dixon Road and another at 99 East Jarman Street. These stations are equipped to deliver rapid response services within a five-mile radius, while additional volunteer-staffed fire stations extend our coverage throughout the county.
