The staff has changed since covid but it has not affected my quality of heath care or the waiting time to unacceptable. I have never had an issue communicating through the app. Im so happy I had my own personal experience with this clinic before reading these reviews because I would have not visited this clinic and that would have been my loss. "Dr Philip Berry is great!!! Very professional, very good doctor. The staff, however? Quite disorganized and often rude. As someone else mentioned, working with them over the phone is less than optimal. Once you’re in their system, just use the online portal, and your doctor should see your communication. I’ve been a patient since 2016 (Dr Morris Brown was my first endocrinologist here, has since retired) and my initial experience with staff was great. However, around COVID that changed and service has been terrible since (as is the case with many places). If Dr Berry wasn’t such a great doctor I’d go somewhere else."

"Great first-time experience. All of the staff members and the doctor were warm and supportive. I particularly appreciated how Dr. Cabrera-Kang  took his time to go over my issues and treatment choices with me. I had a great visit  and  was made to feel at ease by the doctor, thus I highly recommend this clinic."

"My first appointment with Dr. Berry went well. While I was checking-in for my second appointment, I was told my appointment was cancelled. I didn’t get advanced notice or a reason for the cancellation. However, a week before, I was in his office for lab work. After waiting for one hour, I was told that he couldn’t see me because he was too busy. I asked for Dr Berry to call me so at least, we could discuss my lab results over the phone. Three days later I received a phone call from a person—it was unclear exactly what their position was—to tell me about my results and to pass along the doctor’s message that I have to start daily insulin shots. He also offered to send my prescription to the pharmacy. I mentioned that I wanted to speak with Dr Berry to ask for more information about the new development in my treatment, but instead he offered to connect me to the NP or the office manager. He also offered to reschedule my cancelled appointment for the middle of September, which is not an option for me due to my job. It’s very likely that this doctor has too many patients and cannot give quality time and good care to all of them. I can see a lack of respect for my time and my health. An insulin prescription is something that has to be taken seriously, especially the first time it’s prescribed. Patients deserve explanations and detailed instructions that must not be given over the phone by someone who isn’t familiar with your care.
