Reviews
"Beautiful interior and exterior building inline with local decor. Only giving this 4 Stars due to operating hours. If you plan to max your day on the island, based on ferry schedule, you’ll only have about 20 minutes to visit walked the VC and gift shop. That would be if you take the first and last ferry of the day; the 9a and 430p return. VC hours are 8a-4p. Besides that everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Lastly, MAKE SURE you have everything you need before getting onto the ferry, there is NOTHING available to buy on the island."
"Beautiful island with seashore. You will have to take a somewhat pricey ($20 per ticket one way) ferry to the island but it is worth it. Because of the ferry the island does not have a lot of visitors at one time so it is not crowded. Saw lots of wild horses, crabs, maybe an alligator.... Definitely worth a full day visit."
"Great place. I would recommend taking a canopy for the sun or atleast an umbrella, also a cooler with drinks. Buy tickets in advance and rent bikes too. Bring a mosquito repellant and sun screen and watch out for ticks."
"This is an absolute must visit if you love nature, the beach, and have wild horses on your bucketlist! A great day long adventure out on the ferry, exploring the island, and relaxing with a picnic lunch on the beach. Saw wild horses, dolohins, armadillos, and lots of birds and lizards. Be prepared to walk with lots of water, comfortable shoes, and food. So glad we got to this beautiful island!"
