Partnered with The University of Alabama, the foundation is launching the Stepped Transition in Education Program for Students with ASD (STEPS) to help young individuals with autism and related conditions develop skills for independence and achieve their vocational and educational goals. Dr. Whitney Kleinert is the new Executive Director and Chairwoman of the Board, following the legacy of Mr. Tripp Ritchie who founded NGAF and provided support to local families. The foundation offers diagnostic support, clinical consultation, and hosts the NGAF Art Gallery in Blue Ridge. Collaborating with a volunteer board of directors, NGAF aims to expand services and support for the Autistic community in North Georgia.
