Our newly opened park is designed to provide a high-quality recreational environment for children and families, promoting community health and wellness. The playground at Walker Rocks Park boasts nearly two dozen unique components, offering an inclusive space that supports the physical, social-emotional, sensory, cognitive, and communicative needs of all children, including those with disabilities. Our playground features traditional elements like slides and rockers, as well as several climbing structures that complement Walker County's renowned outdoor attractions, such as Rocktown. To ensure accessibility for everyone, the playground includes a poured-in-place rubberized surface and ramps with barriers.
