Shelter "A" is located by the river with a seating capacity of 200 people, while Shelter "B" is nestled in a wooded area by a creek with seating for 50. Both shelters have nearby amenities such as horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and restrooms.

Tammen Park Boat Launch

The park offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors, including a softball field, pavilion, restrooms, and access to the Toccoa River for fishing. The park was developed in 1997 through a grant secured by the Department of Natural Resources and a land donation from Dr. Jerry Tammen.
