"Wonderful church rooted in the Word of God and is a model of a New Testament Church as given in Paul’s epistles. My wife and I felt at home at the service on Wednesday night. Folks were friendly and Pastor Tim Mason preached a great message. Prayer time was meaningful. The church has a sincere concern for the needs of people and supports a number of church planting missionaries. We will definitely attend again."

"We joined Shining Light Baptist Church on Easter Sunday and have been so blessed to be there. We like how Pastor Tim will talk directly to the youth nearly every service; he wants to see them grounded in the Word of God too! We’ve had several missionaries and visiting preachers come and preach, and the men of the church will sometimes teach Sunday School. Everyone can serve. This church is also closely linked with Camp Hosanna in Hiawassee, where any child can go for free! Wednesday nights are true prayer meeting nights where we all take time to pray for one another. Come grow in the Lord with us!"
