Welcome to the Emanuel County Farm and Home Museum, a captivating journey through time nestled in the heart of Swainsboro, Georgia. Located at 133 Museum Road, our museum is a proud part of Longview Farm, the History Center of the Emanuel County Historic Preservation Society (ECHPS). Spread across 15 scenic acres leased from the County of Emanuel, our unique collection showcases a fascinating array of historic buildings, thoughtfully relocated from their original sites within the county. Our mission is to immerse visitors in the rich tapestry of early life and local history by consolidating these structures into an educational museum format. Within the History Center, the Farm and Home Museum offers an extensive collection of materials, tools, and equipment that span from the county's earliest settlement days to the late 1900s. Each artifact tells a story of the past, providing invaluable insights into the daily lives and innovations of Emanuel County's early residents.
