The Pocket Loop Trailhead, located on Pocket Road in Chickamauga, Georgia, is a campground, lodging, and park facility best known for the Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail. This 0.9 mile trail features a boardwalk, waterfall, and nearly 50 varieties of wildflowers, making it a popular spot in March and April when the flowers are in bloom. Jay Clark's book "Wildflowers of Pigeon Mountain" offers extensive information about the wildflowers in the area, and copies can still be ordered on Amazon.
