“Where do I start, UNREAL EXPERIENCE. We stayed here for my friends hen party for 1 night. From the moment I contacted Elaine nothing was too much hassel. This place is just so class, having the bar to ourselves and the whole area was just amazing. Elaine and her husband Peter couldn't do enough for us. The place was so cosy when we arrived with the stoves burning away. No need to worry about been cold in the pods because they were so cosy , definitely not cold and we visited in Feb. The food was amazing and we did not go hungry. the games Elaine played with us were so much fun, we were in fits of laughter. Just overall amazing experience and thank you sooooo much again Elaine and Peter , I know for a fact that everyone throughly enjoyed themselves and will be talking about this hen party for a very long time . 20 out of 10 stars from us all from Connemara .”

“This was our first visit to Dawat so I took a photo. Our meals were delicious, lovely and spicey, and the service and surroundings were excellent. We had a vegetable karahi and a chicken chilli masala for our mains with mushroom rice and garlic and coriander naan. We'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend.”

“Great shop, cold deli and hot food also, bakery and "Frank and Honest" coffee class. Butcher so helpful and always a great range of fresh meats and meat deals also. Manager so helpful and always friendly and always busy. They have lovely seating area inside and tables and chairs outside too. They have fresh flowers and bedding plants also so healthy looking. Great parking and only few yards from Clare Lake.”

“A perfect choice of restaurant to appreciate a really hearty cooked Irish breakfast after a flight from Italy to Knock Airport. Attention to detail in the presentation of the breakfast was evident. The Proprietor was also extremely friendly and welcoming. A truly enjoyable dining experience for me.”

“Giving it 5 stars, was there with a film crew but lack of mobile and WiFi there will put some people off. I will say it is a very nice establishment and I'm told popular with stag parties but it is a really isolated rural pub bit well looked after.”

“Stayed at Failte B&B recently and I cannot recommend this wonderful B&B enough. The bedrooms were cosy and well equipped, each with its own theme and modern ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was superb starting with granola , yogurt and fresh fruit , followed by the best Full Irish I have had anywhere. My wife is a vegetarian she had a wonderful breakfast of scrambled eggs, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. But what makes this B&B unique is the owner herself, warm and welcoming with a terrific sense of humor she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We will be back.”

“We were there today. Food was absolutely wonderful. It was 6 of us- 2 adults and 4 kids - staff joined 2 tables for us and was friendly and helpfull. I had Stir Fry and my friend had Mushroom voul au vent. Food was just beautiful. It was so tasty and very good quality! Kids had chicken carbonara- it was Fab and chicken goujons and chips/pasta. As long as I think goujons were absolutely fantastic and great quality I think it would be great to change them in kids menu to plain chicken goujons - kids thought they were to spicy. Last week when I was there with my daughter she did not eat them as well as she said they were to spicy too. Though as I said already the quality of the food is very high! I am so happy we have such a wonderful place so close to home ! We will definetly come back- I will 100% recomend to friends!”

“Excellent food, I have now visited this take away twice. First time was for 4 doner kebabs. The food is prepared fresh deal daily. I had to wait for approx 20 minutes, not a problem for fresh prepared food. The pitta bread is baked fresh for each order. It was well worth the wait, and the price of €7.50 each was reasonable. Today I was too early for a kebab, the wait would have been approximately 1 hour. We decided to try a pizza, again freshly prepared and ready in about 12- 15 minutes. Perfectly cooked, generous toppings €10 for a 9" or €13 for a 12". We were very satisfied and would have no hesitation recommending this for either doner kebabs or pizzas. I will definitely be back.”
