“I am troubled by the fact that someone gave them a 4/5. If I could balance that by a 6/5 I would. My wife and I toured the Wild Atlantic Way in September, working our way around the coastline. Our trip was 12 days on the road and we stayed in a variety of places during our trip - AirBnBs, traditional bed and breakfasts, and two hotels. Mallmore was a clear 1st place finish. The rooms are large with amazing views of the bay; the beds are VERY comfortable, the hot water is piping hot and plenty, the grounds seem to go on forever with views from every vantage point, and lastly the breakfasts are outstanding - Allen takes the orders and Kathleen provides the magic in the kitchen. Highly recommended - thank you for a wonderful time.”

“This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. A home away from home. Teresa and Padraic make you feel so welcomed from the first hello. Rooms are modern clean and spacious with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was so tasty and left us wishing we could have that every morning. You were offered a full fry up breakfast or a great continental with so many options. The B&B is just less than five minutes away from the beautiful village of cong with all the tourist attractions and the fabulous Ashford Castle with its breath taking views and relaxed attomashphere. At night the pubs are alive with laughter and the hustle and bustle of people and music. Teresa was fantastic to us during our stay and even brought us over to the village. Thank you so much will definitely be back again.”

We were greeted with such kindness , exactly what we needed after a long journey , and made feel very welcome , all facilities are top class, bedrooms are super cosy and spotlessly clean, the scenery around the place was fabulous! Breakfast the next morning …. the family couldn’t have done more for us , we were thrilled with the service , exactly what we needed for what we were doing , and have and will recommend to anyone! this place deserves it!”

“Where do I start, UNREAL EXPERIENCE. We stayed here for my friends hen party for 1 night. From the moment I contacted Elaine nothing was too much hassel. This place is just so class, having the bar to ourselves and the whole area was just amazing. Elaine and her husband Peter couldn't do enough for us. The place was so cosy when we arrived with the stoves burning away. No need to worry about been cold in the pods because they were so cosy , definitely not cold and we visited in Feb. The food was amazing and we did not go hungry. the games Elaine played with us were so much fun, we were in fits of laughter. Just overall amazing experience and thank you sooooo much again Elaine and Peter , I know for a fact that everyone throughly enjoyed themselves and will be talking about this hen party for a very long time . 20 out of 10 stars from us all from Connemara .”

“I had my little girl’s sixth birthday party here at the ox Mountain adventure camp, we rented out the big red bus and the lodge next to the bus. I honestly could not complain about one thing. Dermot and Monica are excellent hosts. The kids absolutely loved the bus and enjoyed all of the animals that are also there. We will definitely be back for another visit.”

“Staying in the Sligo Sea Barn was a fabulous experience. The location is stunning with a private footpath to the beach. Des, Mary, Elena and Tola were wonderful hosts with tea/coffee and homemade cakes for us on arrival. The rooms were super. There were great walking and cycling routes around the area. I was one member of a diving group staying there. We had loads of room to park the jeep and boat in the yard. I would highly recommend the Sligo Sea Barn to anyone for a wonderful place to stay. And I hope to get back there for a weekend away again soon.”

“What a charming spot! We booked this inn last minute -- and Mickey, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous; a perfect stay in the Irish countryside. We even got to meet one of Mickey's baby cows! Next time, we'll have to return for longer!”
