Dr. Goldenberg serves as Overall Principal Investigator for an NIH-Sponsored multinational phase 3 randomized controlled trial on the duration of anticoagulant therapy for venous thromboembolism in patients under 21 years of age. He is also the associate dean for research at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, chief research officer of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Research Institute, and director of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Institute for Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Goldenberg's research focuses on pediatric thrombosis and stroke. He received his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine and completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology/bone marrow transplant at The Children's Hospital, Denver. Dr. Goldenberg has received numerous awards and grants for his research, and he is actively involved in various clinical trials and committees related to pediatric thrombosis. Patients have rated Dr. Goldenberg highly on the national CG-CAHPS Medical Practice patient experience survey. Masks are strongly recommended but not required in Maryland clinical locations.
