"All went well. Thank God & Dr A. Raiker. Also, thanks to Dr Shamp, Oncology Radiologist at Well Spring Radiology.. I had 12 Radiation treatments. After radiation treatments I was told I was in remission. Make sure you get a mammogram yearly and early before it gets out of control."

"I went to see Dr Raiker as a self-pay patient on two occasions this year. Both times I asked what my fees would be to see Dr Raiker. Both visits I was told that I needed my blood drawn in office before I was allowed to see Dr Raiker. The office staff and phlebotomist neglected to tell me that the blood would be sent to Quest Diagnostics and that I would be billed for those services. So months later I as I am trying to get blood work done for which I paid for prior to making the appointment, only to be denied the service due to two bills totaling $700. I called Dr Raiker's office and I was told by the phlebotomist that they do tell patients that they will be billed and then the office manager told me she would tell the phlebotomist that she needs to inform self-pay patients of their liability. Never once did I get an apology, nor any help other than to call Quest to set up payment arrangements. My big issue with their "solution" is if I was properly informed before they drew blood of my "responsibility", I would have said an emphatic "NO" to the blood draw. The office manager wrongly suggested that I should be sympathetic to the doctor's responsibility for paying lab fees when they clearly had none for the situation that they neglectfully put me in financially. This is not the first instance of an extra charge after the fact. The first was a charge for a living will. The doctor asked me if I had one and I said "no." He then asked if I wanted one and I said "yes." Then I get a bill for having a living will made, which never happened. IF you do see Dr Raiker, make sure that any blood work or question is first given a question of, "How much are you going to charge me for this?" I wish I could give him and his office a negative rating."
"Dr. Raiker is very thorough and has put together a top notch support staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing his services. I wanted to rate him 4.5 but couldnt figure out how to do that. Dr. Raiker's credentials are impressive."
