The park also offers pavilions on a first-come, first-served basis. In October 2022, construction began on an expansion project at Lehigh Acres Park, transforming it into a regional park. The expansion includes new fields for football and soccer, pickleball courts, walking trails, a disc golf course, an additional playground, and other amenities. The construction is expected to be completed by early 2024.
