Publix Super Market at Ocala Corners

"I mostly go there to either get the Wednesday $5 sushi or the Chinese lunch/dinner entrees. Their sales are on occasion very good deals and I always end up getting more than I went to purchase"

"This is a very well run store. I just relocated to this area about 4 months ago and have found that this Publix is very clean and shelves always stocked. The order in which food is shelved is well thought out. If you need a product you will find that inventory is shelved in such a manner that when you find the area that has similar products, all products of that nature is in the same area. Never have to hunt down an obscure product. If you do find you need help there will be a staff member close by. Help is available and easy to access. Prices could be a little less but there is always a bogo and even better always a bogo in loaves of bread. Robust inventory and lot of bogo and great staff. Yes, I do like this store."

"Love this location, store it's always very clean and the staff there are very friendly and helpful ready to answer any questions you have regarding where to find what your looking for. The produce section everything is fresh and if you don't like what they have they will try to find it for you with no problems. Thank you Publix for your great service."

"This is the closest Publix to the college so if you're thinking about popping in for a quick sub or even ordering ahead for pick up, go somewhere else. No shade to the workers but there's just not enough of them to keep up with demand. Every time I've ordered my sub, I've shown up 30 mine after the pick up time and the sub still wasn't ready and there was tons of other people in the same situation. If you don't ask about your pick up corner you'll likely be standing there for up to an hour waiting. Go to a different Publix for a sub or just wait in the line"

"I don’t know what’s going on with this Publix, whether they’re severely understaffed or incredibly mismanaged, but going in here at any time later than 10 AM is headache-inducing. It’s actually ridiculous how long you will wait in line - the employees end up needing to direct the people queued up for self-checkout so they don’t block the path across the store, except this usually means that the longer deli line becomes even more crowded. Of course, the lines for the conveyor belt checkouts are not any better, and I distinctly remember the one time I decided to ditch the self-checkout and see if the employees were faster than all of the annoyed customers. The two teenagers at the register chatted the whole time, which I wouldn’t mind at all if they were able to scan the items AND talk at the same time (spoiler: they were not able to, and the groceries were bagged so badly that it made me appreciate every other time that a grocery store employee remembered that eggs should not be placed on top of a loaf of bread within the bag). I mean, I wish any of this was an exaggeration. But if you want to experience the closest thing to hell on a weekday afternoon, go to the Publix on Ocala at 1 PM and try to order a hot sandwich. If you succeed, try using the self-checkout. By the time you manage to get out of this godforesaken store (that is, if you haven’t given up and decided that going hungry was better than whatever plane of suffering is induced here) you will have realized that the existence of this Publix is a cruel joke, and you were just one of many players in the orchestration of such an abominable prank. You will not be happy. You will not be satisfied. In fact, you will be enraged to the point of which near-poetry is spouted in the Google reviews of….a grocery store. This place does terrible things to the people who have the misfortune, nay, the naïveté, perhaps even the stupidity, of being in it’s vicinity."
