Located at 2909 Jackson Bluff Road in Tallahassee, Florida, the Mike Blankenship Skate Park is a cutting-edge facility spanning 26,000 square feet. Designed to cater to skaters of all levels, the park features a five-foot deep pool that rolls down to nine feet, along with various lip areas, flat banks, transitions, and other challenging features. Led by chair Dave Wilcox, local skateboarders and the Skaters' Union collaborated with the Parks and Recreation Department to select the site at the James Messer Sports Complex. Situated near the James Messer Fields and StarMetro Administrative Offices, the skate park offers a unique experience with its longest snake run element in Florida, stretching approximately 225 feet. With over nine main obstacles that double as iconic art pieces, the Skateable Art Park provides something for skaters and riders of all ages and skill levels.
