"Do not waste your time with this group! I've been having severe lower back pain on my left side for almost a month now which makes it unbearable to sit for extended periods of time. I scheduled the earliest appointment possible with Dr. Figueroa. During my first visit I explained the pain I was having and explained that I couldn't go to work because I have to sit for 8 hours a day as; he did a physical examination, took an x ray, wrote a script for an MRI (because the x ray didn't show any broken bones) and he also wrote a script for me to attend physical therapy 2-3x per week (with the Florida Spine Institute). I scheduled the earliest MRI possible and I picked up the report and images the following day after having completed it, then called to schedule my follow up appointment. Dr. Figueroa stated that my spine looked perfect, aside from some minor disc desiccation and that he recommends the physical therapy as it would help with the pain I was experiencing as well as the muscle spasms that I had been having. I was happy to hear that my spine was ok and honestly was left in a bit of a fog wondering what the hell was causing my pain. Yesterday I dropped off my FMLA forms and I also left a voice message for him asking if I should see a Chiropractor to help speed up the process as I want to get back to work as quickly as possible and my first physical therapy appointment isn't until next week. The nurse returned my call this morning and said that Dr. Figueroa advised that I not see a chiropractor but rather wait for the physical therapy. She continued to say that Dr. Figueroa could not fill out my FMLA forms b.c. I had never mentioned that I was out of work. The nurse then said that he couldn't determine what was causing my pain, but that he recommends I follow through with my prescribed physical therapy! This sounds like a complete and total scam! He clearly couldn't care less about helping me determine what's causing this horrific pain, but definitely wants to meet his quota for referring me for physical therapy!!"

"If I could give zero stars I would. If you are looking for pain relief...do not go here..of you love to be run through millions of test and the doctors know you are in pain from results of MRIs, x-rays and other test but doesn't do anything but says we'll let run another test and comeback next week. Was waiting 3 weeks for an epidural shot they said it was my insurance 3 WEEKS! and I was going to have to wait without any pain relief at all! I left my appt went straight to my primary guess what they set me up? A doctor that is giving me an epidural shot this Monday..not 3 weeks from now..and also called me in pain relief until then..imagine thay...they assume if your young and are asking for relief you are a drug addict or something...AGE DISCRIMINATION!"
