Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park
Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, located at 6503 North Ocean Drive in Dania Beach, Florida, is a beautiful park and tourist attraction that offers a variety of outdoor activities. The park will be under construction starting April 1, 2024, so visitors should expect delays near the bridges. However, the park is currently open from 8 a.m. to sunset, with temporary closures when it reaches maximum capacity. This beachside park is the last remaining undeveloped coastal ecosystem in Broward County and is named after Civil Rights Movement leaders who fought to desegregate South Florida beaches.
