Dudley Farm Historic State Park
Dudley Farm Historic State Park, located at 18730 West Newberry Road in Newberry, Florida, is a unique institution that offers visitors a glimpse into farm life as it was over a century ago. This National Historic Landmark is not a re-created farmstead but an authentic working Florida farm that showcases the evolution of farming in the state. Established by Phillip Benjamin Harvey Dudley Sr. before the Civil War, the farmstead was further developed by his son, P.B.H. Dudley Jr. The park features eighteen original buildings dating back to the 1880s and 1930s, including a restored family farmhouse with original furnishings, a kitchen, general store, post office, and cane syrup complex.
