Named after Gilbert Samson, this park is a popular tourist attraction and a peaceful outdoor recreational site. It is publicly owned and operated, offering visitors a natural and passive environment to enjoy the beauty of the beach and ocean. The park was acquired with grant funding from the Florida Communities Trust Preservation 2000 Program and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program. Visitors can relax, take a leisurely stroll, or simply enjoy the stunning views of the ocean at Samson Oceanfront Park. Senator Gwen Margolis Park
Senator Gwen Margolis Park is a beautiful 2.84-acre park located at 17815 North Bay Road in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. This park offers a fenced-in leash-free dog area to the north, known as the Bone Zone, where dogs can roam freely. However, dogs must be on a leash until inside the designated area. Please note that dogs are not allowed in other areas of the park. The park was acquired with grant funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s “Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program.” It is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy outdoor activities, picnics, and leisurely walks.
