Senator Gwen Margolis Park is a beautiful 2.84-acre park located at 17815 North Bay Road in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. This park offers a fenced-in leash-free dog area to the north, known as the Bone Zone, where dogs can roam freely. However, dogs must be on a leash until inside the designated area. Please note that dogs are not allowed in other areas of the park.

The park was acquired with grant funding from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s “Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program.” It is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy outdoor activities, picnics, and leisurely walks.

"Very unfriendly staff did not let us in because of a mask when any face covering would be enough to enter the field. The field was also empty that day. Instead of educating people they just turn them away. So sad!!!"

"Very pretty, green and lush park. Well kept. Nice area for kids to play with a shade cover from the sun. Soft ground for falls. The playground is more for kids over 5, I would say. There's a field for team sports and a small path for walking."

"Nice place to enjoy with kids. Has a very secure, clean, family ambiance. Soccer camp is cool. It gets a bit crowded at times, but that's because it's a nice park. I've been going there for years with my son."

"This park is very well maintained and clean. There is a large soccer field with different sections so it can be used for 2 or 3 games simultaneously. There’s several entrances around the park and benches through out. There’s a playground right next to it which is shaded. The playground is clean and in good condition. There are water fountains and restrooms too. The restrooms are very well kept and there’s a baby changing station in the women's rest room."
