Nicklaus Children's Palm Beach Gardens Urgent Care Center

"EDIT: Unfortunately after the best in house experience, I can only warn people, as so many have done here, about receiving more bills after the fact. I was told my insurance was inadequate and to pay them in full on the night, which I did. Lo and behold I received another bill with similar amount today. After calling the extremely unhelpful billing office, I was told the night in question was an 'estimate'.. This is unacceptable. That would make this place much more unaffordable than any ER I have been to. I now see why this ER has such a low rating... My first review before this drama below: What a fabulous experience. Hands down the cleanest urgent care by far! The staff went over and beyond anything I expected, laughing and joking with my son. Very meticulous, knowledgeable and informative. Thank you for making this a positive experience in a not so happy moment."

"This urgent care is hands down one of the best i've been to. I felt safe, it was clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The nurses and doctors took great care of our son. We will only use this UC for our son."

"If I could give no stars to this facility I would have chosen that option. This urgent care has one thing which is what they stand for : treating every patient with non urgency. I was at there center last week and it took me 3.5 hours with just 2 patients before me . There was a wait for 1 hour after the nurse checked the vitals . Going here with a toddler for any emergency is not recommended at all."

"We love this place. Better than any children’s ER locally. Copay $75 and that’s it! My daughter went to 2 local ER’s 3 times severe vomiting and they told us she has anxiety. Took her to Nicklaus and they stated that she was severely constipated. They called the local ER and notified them that I was bringing her back and what the xray findings were. My daughter has been there several times with various things. I’ve never had any billing issues. They are quick, proficient and professional. FYI our insurance is Blue Cross."

"Good initial service and took care of my daughter but several months later received a several hundred dollar bill in the mail. We were vacationing from out of state and from the information on their website and via my insurance we were led to believe they were covered. They weren't. But even given that, their rates for an urgent care clinic are roughly 2x what is normal elsewhere. When I called to clarify, I was never able to get through to someone - I was redirected to their main menu repeatedly and then sat on hold for 20+ minutes. Good initial service and they met our immediate medical needs but it never feels good to be misled, not communicated with and then billed extra after the fact. We would have chosen a different location of care if the information were shared clearly so sharing this as a warning for others."
