Gratzzi Italian Grille

"Had the most amazing experience and delicious food at this charming Italian restaurant. We started with a cosmo type of martini with lemoncello that was very tasty. The salad had a perfect amount of dressing, and was very tasty with the warm crispy bread. Then the show started when we ordered the Cavatelli Bada Bing which is homemade ricotta cavatelli that is flambéed inside a 100 pound parmesan cheese wheel with prosciutto, tomatoes, basil, and vodka. The cavatelli pasta is cooked in front of your table and then flambéed with vodka. It is then transferred into the cheese wheel where the pasta continues to Cook and melt the cheese that coats the pasta. Truly an amazing sight. The prosciutto, tomatoes and basil are then cooked in the pan and flambéed. The pasta from the cheese wheel is then added back to the pan and all mixed with that delicious Parmesan cheese flavor. The meal was incredibly delicious and I would definitely order it again. For dessert we were served an amazing tiramisu to celebrate birthdays. The staff were all very nice and accommodating to allergies. Will definitely go back and order that meal again."

"We visited Grazzi on a Thursday and was tough to find a seat at first BUT once we were seated, we realized why there was a wait. The food and service were spectacular where Aaron, our bartender, gave us a very personalized experience. The food served and conversation was above our expectations. Highly recommend anyone in search of some amazing Italian food in St Pete’s!"

"I don't even know where to start as there are so many amazing things to talk about! I can't believe that after all these years of living here, this was my first time stopping in recently. First, you definitely should get a reservation as it seems to be a pretty busy place. I used the app OpenTable and was able to see what was available the day before. Ambiance is really great here... From a casual dinner to a nice dinner with family or a first date location. Didn't really get a good look at the bar so not sure if it had ample seating or not. Service was super smooth and our waitress was very knowledgeable and quick with making sure we were taken care of. We also got a tableside item that was made in front of us and it was awesome from start to finish. Okay, let's get down to the food now-- I got the Cavatelli Bada Bing and oh my gosh I've never had something that tasted so good. I've always wanted to do a table side pasta dish but didn't know we had anything like that in the area. It did not disappoint. The aroma of the fresh basil, the freshness of the prosciutto, the cheesiness of the sauce. Even the performance of making it was awesome to experience. We came for a birthday, so my partner was able to get a free dessert that got delivered to the table. With singing and a candle. We chose crème brûlée which was amazing and the limoncello cake which was exceptional. Only thing I wasn't a fan of from our experience was they didn't have a paper copy of their drink menu and wine list. A tablet was dropped off at the table and the interface was a little difficult to navigate."

"We’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed our meals. Most times the service is very good but this last visit was lacking and perhaps it was due to our being seated outside. Regardless we had great meals. I had the chicken marsala and the ladies both had the salmon with asparagus and risotto. Everything was delicious and as always we will return when on the mood for Italian food."

"Ate here after watching performance art cuz it was close to the venue and I had halibut for the first time it was one of the specials and it was very good with the sauce it was served with. Friend had the other special Ravioli and enjoyed it as well. The bread they bring out to the table was the worst I've ever tasted at a restaurant, it has no flavor taste like eating warm flour. I got to watch the manager prepare the Cavatelli Bada Bing which was totally cool and I would like to try it next time. The server was a bit slow. They also serve fresh pizza with dough that is prepared daily (hope it's better than the table bread). The restaurant is dark and very quaint I would definitely come back to try the Cavatelli."
