Primitive campsites along Rock Springs Run and the Wekiva River are accessible by canoe only, while equestrian camping facilities are also available. Please note that access to the reserve is through Rock Springs Reserve Road and Wekiva River Road in Sorrento, Florida. The old entrance off State Road 429 South is open during hunting season for participants, as the reserve is also co-managed with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for hunting purposes. Hunting is permitted on select weekends from September through January, with designated areas clearly marked and some trails closed for safety reasons.
