"Comfort inn & suites was very nice and clean! Service was great!! It was right next door to a Pizza Hut and a slims chicken. Also, it’s not even a mile away from a public and a few miles away from the pier with many seafood restaurants, the beach and an arcade!!"

"The ONLY good thing was the woman at the lobby desk, during night shift. She was very kind. The room smelled so bad, a mixture of mold/mildew and a cockroach infested home. The TV would not work, she changed the batteries in remote and eventually it somewhat, sporadically would work. Cracks, mold, dead bugs in the bathroom. For as much as they charge it could be better. I still cannot breathe from that room stench. Oh and did I mention the flea bites I'm going to leave with!? Pretty sure the next morning I discovered the smell of mold/mildew. The unit looks to have mold. Black speckles. Went to take a shower but there were black hairs on the side of tub soooo I didn't trust it was cleaned properly. No water pressure. It was just not pleasant nor comfortable. A hundred and sixty three some odd dollars for this. Nah. Now off to my beloved condo! Fleas! I pulled the covers back and they were hopping all over the bed!"

"The only positive thing about our stay was the location and that the hotel was quiet. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and am unsure how they are able to be operational with the health and safety hazards present. We stayed in room 420 on July 15th. When we arrived to check in we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another 15 minutes. We were not early for check in, but shrugged it off as we know many places are running short staffed. After arriving back to the hotel 45 minutes later we discovered that our room had been freshly mopped. Unfortunately, it felt that was the only cleaning that was completed for a new guest staying in this room. We quickly discovered that our hotel room was not up to basic sanitary conditions. We had a 2x2 section of mold on the ceiling in our bathroom, the bathtub was rusted on the exterior wall, our bedding was absolutely disgusting, the electrical outlet for the AC unit did not have a plate cover and the outlet itself wasn't secured into the wall. The floor boards were colored with brown-yellowish stains, after reading another review, it seems that might have been a bug treatment of some sort. I did find a spider in the room but was unable to get a picture. Do yourself a favor and pay an extra $100 to stay somewhere else! The price is not worth the unhealthy conditions. I shared the information with the front desk clerk and he didn't seem to care and just said his manager would be in and they might be able to apply a refund of some sort. The housekeeping staff that were present when I shared these photos were absolutely disgusted and apologetic. I understand that you may be short staffed but general health and safety regulations need to be followed."

"For the price we weren't expecting the best, but out room was filthy. We were in room 203, you could see roach medicine on the baseboards, the baseboards alone were dirty, our last day there we spotted a roach. No signs of bed bugs, so that's a win. we did have an issue with a charge & the staff was really helpful...could have just been a lot cleaner. Location was great-will be taking extra precautions when unpacking our stuff and taking it in the house. Honestly we should have known better. We did have a friend at the same hotel, their room looked significantly cleaner."
