"Place is filthy. They claim the kitchen is stocked yet there are no cutting boards 2 dull knives and oh yeah... COCKROACHES!!! The boat is in major need of proper repairs. The hot water system is flat out dangerous. Can’t figure out how to turn lights on in the living space and the bed is less than decent."

"It was dirty, and shaby. Book of rules instructed us not to use the toilet for anything other than urinate, or run the risk of our credit card being charged extra $100.00. It instructed us to use dock bathroom; we could not locate one. Book instructed us to clean rooms and change sheets. However, we paid a $50.00 cleaning fee. We booked two nights, and stayed one. We could not locate the wi-fi, or pull sofa bed out. I have photos of rule book instuctions, and dirty rooms. NO REFUNDS!"

"I dislike writing negative reviews but I feel I need to. Excited to arrive at our boathouse rental. Nice deck to sit on top but only 2 chairs and no table for drinks, The interior was dark. We are boaters and when told not to complain about the head we were not worried. •The head was open to the bedroom and in the beginning was okay but into the 5th day of a 10 night stay it began to stink and by the 8th day we were gagging from the smell. This boat is simply not equipped for more than a few days at a time in my experience as a boater. •As informed, hot water is very limited and only in the shower. You must heat up water on the stove for dishes. •Arrived to find the galley equipment was insufficient...no cooking pots, 1 large sharp knife not suitable for paring, no can opener, no pan of any kind to cook in the oven, the only bowls were 2 cereal bowls, the lighter for the stove was hit and miss so we bought matches WE PURCHASED ALL THOSE ITEMS AND LEFT THEM IN THE KITCHEN AS WE COULD NOT TAKE THEM HOME •On the 8th day I took plates out of the cabinet for our dinner...started eating our home cooked meal and after a few bites noticed small spiders all over my plate and food and I had been eating them. Time to leave..we felt with the head issue and the spiders that was enough. We went to a hotel. Extremely disappointed! I would not recommend this houseboat rental."
