War Veterans Memorial Park
War Veterans Memorial Park, located at 9600 Bay Pines Boulevard in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a 112-acre park that serves as a tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States military. The park features a landscaped Memorial Center with plaques and flags representing each branch of the armed forces, as well as a Battlefield Cross, Sundial, and Army Tank. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the park, which offers shaded areas to view Boca Ciega Bay. The park is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to sunset, with the exception of two days a year - the day after Thanksgiving and December 25.
