About the Business
Welcome to Bay Pines National Cemetery
Located at 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard in the serene surroundings of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bay Pines National Cemetery stands as a solemn tribute to the courage and dedication of our nation's Veterans. Established in 1933, this historic site, now part of the National Register of Historic Places, offers a place of rest for those who served our country with honor.
Honoring Our Heroes
Bay Pines National Cemetery is a place where the memories of nearly 10 million Veterans are preserved and celebrated through the innovative Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) digital platform. This interactive feature allows families and friends to post tributes, share military service timelines, achievements, and upload images to honor their loved ones. With opportunities to share biographical information and historical documents, VLM ensures that the stories of our heroes are never forgotten.
Burial Services and Eligibility
Our cemetery provides space for cremated remains and, in certain cases, can accommodate casketed remains alongside previously interred family members. We honor all members of the armed forces who have met the necessary service requirements and were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. Additionally, eligible family members, including spouses, minor children, and under specific conditions, unmarried adult children with disabilities, may also be laid to rest here.
Visiting and Paying Respects
Visitors are welcome to pay their respects and leave fresh cut flowers at any time. While floral arrangements are limited during burial services, seasonal decorations are permitted during designated periods. We kindly request that visitors adhere to our guidelines to maintain the dignity and beauty of this sacred space.
A Place of Reflection and Education
Bay Pines National Cemetery is not only a place of rest but also a site of historical significance and educational opportunity. We are developing educational content to further honor and memorialize the sacrifices of our Veterans. Please visit our Veterans Legacy Program and NCA History Program for more information.

"The first impression I have for this place is how well maintained the grounds. The solemn atmosphere is very present. We were treated with such kindness and respect. The Navy color guard was very precise and professional. It was very difficult to find words to describe the way they performed. I only wish I could have thanked them for their service. When they played taps I lost it. Knowing that they treat our hero’s with such kindness and respect is very special. It’s important to know that when a service member passes on or off the field of battle they will always be remembered. Thank you to all the great service members who helped make this day special. Your dedication is truly inspiring."

"So Beautiful and sad:) You must visit on Memorial Day! A site on honor to those who gave all. Loved ones. Have family there. The grounds are well keep. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR MILITARY PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE!"
"A beautifully cemetery that is very well taken care of. Very peaceful. Summer there are crepe myrtles blooming around the section where my parents are buried. I love the hearing the bell tower chimes. Very soothing. 3/2018 My dad, a Korean War Veteran, was buried in March and Father Aloysius did the service. He was a very compassionate and kind priest. So glad he did the service. Made it easier on me knowing he truly cared. 8/2014 Whereas, we had a wonderful priest for my father, when my mom was buried, it was the complete opposite! I don't know his name but this was a very cold priest. No condolences or sympathy offered to me what so ever!"
