Veterans Memorial Park is a beautiful park located on the shores of Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida. This park is dedicated to honoring those who have served our country. Visitors can learn more about the sacrifices made by veterans through informational kiosks placed throughout the park. Additionally, memorial bricks are available for purchase and placement in the park, allowing visitors to pay tribute to their loved ones who have served in the military. Please note that the City of Sanford's Reclaimed Water System, which provides irrigation water for the park, is currently facing operational challenges. As a result, public access to quality reclaimed water is limited. The system is only available for use from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am on scheduled days.
