Dr. William Henghold is a highly distinguished doctor specializing in the treatment of skin cancer. As a fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Henghold has dedicated his career to providing exceptional care to his patients, having performed over 30,000 Mohs and reconstructive surgical cases, including more than 1,000 surgeries for melanoma. Dr. Henghold's impressive journey began as a "military brat" in North West Florida, attending Niceville High School while his father served at Eglin Air Force Base. He pursued higher education in Ohio, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dayton with a degree in chemistry. In 1992, he earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He completed his dermatology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and further honed his skills at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.
