Established in 1949, it is America's oldest youth circus, attracting over 1 million spectators annually to its youth productions. The academy offers after-school circus training for students aged 8-18, focusing on developing life management skills, self-discipline, confidence, and a commitment to achievement in a circus atmosphere. The Sailor Circus Academy has evolved into two troupes: The Red Troupe for performance and the Gold Troupe for beginner and intermediate training.
