"Rude Rude Rude woman that I presume was the owner YELLED at us for bringing 2 small breed dogs that were inside a dog stroller with the lid closed. Book store? Naw… a lot of junk and bad coffee."

"my sister her boyfriend and i, as well as a family friend all went into this business today around 4:00 and the encounter that we had with the woman behind the counter who i’m assuming is the owner was very confrontational with us and quite rude. we were cracking jokes to one another about dolphins being “evil” because of their nature but she interjected and was hostile and told us to do our research. then when one of us tried to buy a candy bar she said she had a $5 card minimum so when we asked do we just need to grab another item to go with it she reiterated it very condescendingly and then when my sister offered cash she told our friend to stop acting that way and just take the cash because it wasn’t that hard to accept if she only wanted the candy bar and to say thank you. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a small business this way and we were nice to the woman but she was very rude. i’m also not one to shame a small business but if i were you i wouldn’t spend my money in a place that is so comfortable treating paying customers this way. we support local businesses wherever we go but i’ll never be shopping there again. absolutely disgusted by the attitude of this woman towards 3 young adults and a literal child."

"All I wanted was a crunch bar. The lady said if I was paying with card I have to have a total of five dollars. I was a little confused by her wording so I wanted to double check that’s what she meant. The lady continuous to explain to me as if I was stupid. I decided to get the book I was thinking about getting to make the 5 dollar total. My friend offers to help me but I said it’s ok because I wanted the book. she yells at me to just take the money and be grateful. It was so uncomfortable and rude and I do not want to go back. She even was rude to my friend and her sister. they we just joking and she says that they need to get their facts straight and that’s they wouldn’t know anything."

"Friendly and cozy book and coffee shop! They had a selection of pastries and cookies but we just got a latte which was good. Wish we could have walked around a bit more but it's back to the beach for us! They just got re-licensed for food I was told, so look for more edibles on the menu soon. Go stop by!"

"A great place to hang out, do some work and have a glass of iced tea. Oh, and coffee too! They have treats to munch on as well. The service is good. The WiFi consistent!!! What more could you ask? On the main drag in PSJ so lots of people watching opportunities."
