"Joann breaks Florida law on equipment refunds. 501.142 states that they must post a "No Refund" sign at their cash registers if they don't offer anything for a return. They hide their "No Refund" policy in the "no receipt" section of text on the back of their receipts and in their "Hassle Free Creativity" signage if they post it. Bottom line, you will get no help or a refund from them if you purchase electronics and open the box. If you are sold a bad piece of equipment, you'll need to get a replacement from the manufacturer and return the unopened replacement to the store for a refund."
"Young lady in back was very helpful she gets a 5. The male cashier helped the woman in front of me, took the time to help her download app and gave her credit for 50 dollars. He got to me very rude in telling me my things were on sale no discounts. Next person in line he asked for her phone number and I asked him why he didn't ask me my phone number and he said because I was probably not in system. Please train him to not be rude to people of colorfolks"
"Store often closes early against their posted times, very slow checkouts too. Go to the Winter Garden one instead as they are staffed and fast."
"Very impressed. I went in to pick up a couple patterns, the draws was neat and well stocked. I live on the east coast of Florida. The Joanne's I usually go rarely has the patterns that I want, the selection is poor and the drawers are messy. This store could set an example for the one that I live by."
"So my son needed plants to make his animal cages look more "real" and the pet store only had hard fish tank like ones for snakes and lizards so I was like let's check out Joann's and omg my 15 year old son was like a kid in a candy shop so excited picking out all kinds of plants for his snakes and frog lol."
