Juan I. Rivera, MD is a family medicine physician located at 315 East Olympia Avenue in Punta Gorda, Florida. Dr. Rivera received his Medical Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey and completed his residency at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He is board certified in family medicine and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. Rivera is a member of the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to his medical practice, he is actively involved in the community and was honored with the 2019 George Brown Humanitarian Award by the Blanchard House Museum. Dr. Rivera is fluent in Spanish and enjoys boating in his spare time.
