"Lovely walking trails, good for kids and the elderly. There is also a horse riding trail along the outskirts. Current construction on the blue trail."
"Not to be missed if you are a bird lover! Boardwalk was closed for reno, but plenty of paved trails through a enormous wetlands! Pit toilets avail. Occasional benches to sit on and relax. Viewing tower is not to be missed! Saw 2 beautiful, graceful great herons soar right past me!! Plenty of free parking. I didn't see any alligators, but I am told that they can be seen, especially from the tower."
"We LOVE this park. My daughter is still newer at riding her bike, and she did so well. I want to applaud everyone we saw bc everyone was so nice and kind."
"I ride my horses here often. There is parking for my 3 horse LQ trailer in the second parking lot. That's where all the horse trailers park. There is no shade, but the scenery is beautiful. The trail is about an hour and a half. There are bathrooms at the first parking lot and a water fountain."
"We love this park! Whether you are on foot, on wheels or horse back it’s great! It’s actually a huge water filtration for Wellington’s water so it goes back into the Everglades clean. Over the last 10 or so years the Village of Wellington have made it a showcase for indigenous flora and fauna and teaming with wildlife! Located on Flying Cow Road it is adjacent to the Wellington Equestrian Overlay district."
