"This restaurant took two hours to deliver us our food. Maybe it was because it was Saturday night, so they’re very busy. Maybe they only had one chef working in the kitchen. But 2 hours. If you’re coming by boat you should watch carefully to make sure you stay in the channel. It can be very shallow depths - down to 2 foot 2 barely outside the marker. The atmosphere there is very cool and if you have kids, there is a small beach for kids to play on."

"Awesome food and services. Just wish they had more vegetarian options. They do have veggies quesadilla and pasta but a few more options would've been awesome. They have grilled plantains and it's really awesome. The views are anywhich ways breath-taking. Be it evenings or afternoons, it's always a pleasant place to be."

"This is a no smoking facility, there is a sign at the front. No cigarettes, vapes, no 420. It’s a family friendly waterfront restaurant and bar. The little beach is for kids only. You can rent kayaks right here and there is an outdoor shower. It’s very casual and bathing suits are fine. The food is good for bar food. They have ahi tuna nachos that are pretty good. Kids meals for $9 are decent value. Meals are all around $20. There’s also no cash accepted, cards only. They have a couple happy hour deals, certain drinks are half off. We had a group of about 20 and they accommodated us well."

"First visit at The Getaway. I didn't have food but I did have a couple of drinks. It has a very Caribbean vibe, open air restaurant and water side seating. I sat at the water enjoying a few drinks at sunset. Really nice views, boats passing by and fish swimming. Waiters said people fell over into the water, don't be that person lol. I'd go back just because of the laid back atmosphere and the reggae music playing in the background."

"Need more words in my dictionary to describe our time at The Getaway! Food was good-fish dip, tacos, drinks okay... but the atmosphere and Lauren our waitress made the experience!! It has five areas in which 'you pick' to sit and enjoy your time there. The view is gorgeous, right on the water, boat coming and going, a little beach for 'the kids'. Simple a great 'island time' experience."
