Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Matlacha, a warm and welcoming place of worship located at 3300 Southwest Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, Florida. Our church is dedicated to serving God, supporting our community, and spreading the Gospel of Christ both locally and globally. Led by Pastor Kevin Pridemore, who joined us in 2023, and Assistant Pastor Steve Ludwig, we are committed to rebuilding and growing stronger in faith after the challenges we faced from Hurricane Ian in 2022. Pastor Kevin, with his extensive pastoral experience since 2010, brings a vision of hope and renewal to our congregation. He, along with his wife Heather and their children, believes in the power of faith and community. As a Bible preacher, Pastor Kevin is passionate about nurturing the spiritual growth of all our members.

Welcome to the FGCU Food Forest, a unique student-run botanical garden located at 9920 FGCU South Court, Fort Myers, Florida. Nestled within the Department of Integrated Studies, this lush oasis is dedicated to showcasing tropical and subtropical edible species thriving in South Florida’s climate. Open to the community from sunrise to sunset, the Food Forest is a vibrant space where students, alumni, staff, faculty, and community members can engage in lifelong learning and sustainable living practices. Our mission is to advance environmental sustainability and promote whole food nutrition by providing organic fruits and vegetables to the campus and the surrounding Southwest Florida communities. Through innovative educational and service-learning opportunities, the Food Forest fosters a deeper understanding of sustainable food production and permaculture design, which emphasizes Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share.
