"The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious and well appointed. We were only in Saint Augustine for one night and were out visiting the sites most of the time, so the only staff we dealt with was Sarah at the front desk and she was great. She was very friendly and professional. We had questions about managing the trolley tour and locations of several places of interest, and she was very helpful."

"Went there for the winter holiday season. The hotel seems very modern, probably built or renovated recently. The rooms are very spacious and are perfect for a family of four. The check in process was easy. They have a decent market place to get a few drinks and snacks. They also have a restaurant on site. The problem we had during our stay is that the restaurant was very understaffed and the only person working there was visibility overwhelmed. I let the manager know but didn't seem apologetic at all. Also note that even though the hotel name has Historic District in its name it is a bit of a walk to the main historic area. Probably a good 15-20 min walk."

"The decor and atmosphere of the property is bright, and pleasant. The staff was fantastic, from the front desk staff (Devin and the day young woman, Sarah I think?) who were friendly and attentive to the bartender to the maintenance staff--all excellent. The areas that need a bit of improvement were: -At check in we expected and had reserved a single king room, and were provided a double queen. We were told there were no rooms available. After we unpacked a single king room was found. (A minor inconvenience). -The room we ended up with had an issue with the water-- it smelled like rotten eggs to the point where we had to continually run the bathroom fan and use bottled water to brush our teeth. -Some other comfort and convenience related issues-- there were no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom, and the chairs in the room were extremely uncomfortable, there was only 1 breakfast option that fit within the allowance of $10., and parking was pricey. The hotel is not quite upscale enough to justify the cost of parking and breakfast, but with a higher level of comfort and convenience (comfortable chairs and pillows, conveniences like towel hooks, a shuttle downtown) perhaps it would. If I return to St. Augustine, I will probably stay at the Hilton closer to the downtown area if I have to pay for parking, as it will save on transportation costs and/or walking time."

"We had a great vacation at this hotel. The rooms and hotel were super clean. Sheila at the front desk met all of our needs. She helped us plan our itineraries and recommended how to travel there! She is a true gem and made our vacation plans so much easier! There was also a young gentleman in the evenings (I cannot recall his name-so sorry!!) who helped us immensely as well and was so kind. The hotel is in a good location with easy travel to any place you want to go to. It is not in the center of town and was much more quiet and that is what I like again. Thanks so much for having us!"
