"Customer service was great. Very responsive. Check in progress was easy via app. But overall the room is not what we expected especially with all the reviews and pictures online. Entering and through out the stay the room smells like mold. AC was not cold and was too loud. Bed and pillows had hairs. Towels also have white long hair. The shower puddles up. Noise banging behind the room."
"Need to have a smart phone to check-in. Room was fine and clean. Bed not so comfy but alright for few day. The pillows were too thick for my liking; but, the management was able to find a thinner ones for me. I was able to sleep well after the pillows were changed."
"I used to live in St. Augustine and was curious about The Local so decided to stay there for my birthday weekend. It was super cute and the owner was very responsive, even making it possible for us to check in early when we arrived before 3. It’s also close to downtown and easy to get there. The only thing is it would be nice to have a little more light in the room and extra blankets for when it got colder in the room. I really enjoyed staying here."
"Cute & cozy stay!!! Affordable and nice. Love the Florida room with coffee and teas. Too rainy to swim but the pool area looked adorable. For the sake of the review, an extra mirror in the room and a small chair would’ve definitely been nice. But all in all, perfect night! Thanks guys!"
"This place is adorable!! It’s in a convenient location with just a short drive or a nice walk over the bridge to the downtown area. This was perfect for my one night stay in st. Augustine while exploring the area. Room was so cute and comfy and everything was clean! Definitely would stay here again next time i visit!"
