It is expected that repairs will be completed in time for summer camp registration, which begins on February 26, 2024. Summer camp registration does not require a membership, but a household account must be updated or created online. Memberships cost $10 per individual or $25 per family for lifetime access to the four large Recreation Centers in Lee County. The center also features a dog park with off-leash play areas, water and shower stations for pets, and shelters available for picnics or small parties on a first come, first served basis.

With over 200,000 visitors annually, Manatee Park provides a unique opportunity to observe and learn about these fascinating marine mammals in their natural habitat. Please note that as of March 12, 2024, manatees are no longer being sighted at the park due to rising Gulf temperatures.
