"I am so disappointed in this place. This was a good place to eat at. Not any more!!! Let's see, where do I begin. Let start by the fact that this place is so desperate to make a dollar, that they deny you any water from the soda machine as other restaurants do when you ask for water. They want to sell you bottled water at all costs($3 to be exact, the cost of a case) and tell you that's all the water they have, when clearly the soda machine is clear as day (Thieves). Secondly, I developed a headache while waiting for my food as the music was so loud and the speaker was pointing directly to where I was sitting (still have a headache as I'm typing this). Not a pleasant atmosphere at all. My food took longer than average, which I don't have a problem with as long as the food is hot, fresh and edible. I'll wait for good food, I don't care. There were two young ladies that sat at the table next to me about 10 minutes after I did and their food came out first. Here is the problem! When my food came out the chicken was visibly charred and dry as the Sahara. The lady(the owner) knew the food was subpar as she came by seconds later asking if everything was ok, which she saw wasn't when she ran it. She doesn't care. I was starving so I just threw my hands in the air, and ate as much as possible. Most of the chicken I left and ate the salad, rice and beans. The young ladies sitting next to me, one of them left their entire entree. I did ask the one girl what was wrong and she stated the pernil had a funny taste to it and the mofongo was very salty. She asked for a refund as she basically didn't touch it. The problem with this place is definitely in the kitchen. The last time I was here the chicken was raw and I returned it. BE AWARE!!!! DO NOT TIP!!!! THEY AUTOMATICALLY TAG ON 18% GRATUITY. I will not be back and will make sure that people I know go elsewhere. SOME ADVICE. turn down the music and stop charging people for water at a 400% rate. Not even good water either. Go somewhere else."

"Great mampostao! fried fish to the point, order carrucho empanadillas and got meat empanadillas twice. Chicharrones yummy, overall wonderful taste and the server did her best in pleasing my wine palad as well. Will be back"

"My Plate was Mofongo but with Pana and chiken al ajiyo. My plate was good no problem. My friends plate was horrible, just mofongo with no sauce or chicharon in it. They told me that if I wanted a juice with no ice it will be a $1 additional for it. The staff was ok, and never rude. But as me going back maybe. If there is no other place that makes the Pana mofongo."
