I couldn't give five stars because the boardwalks and docks really need to be rebuilt, so be very careful if you stay here."

"Don't rent a boat slip from these guys they are all about rich people only. I got approved to rent the slip payed Frans the resort manager maybe? Only to get a call two days later that my boat was to long to rent there, I told Frans it was 23 foot in length from the begining. So if that if that is the case they should not false advertise they accept boats up to 28 feet in length. I don't know to this moment why they didn't rent the slip to me there was nothing in the paperwork that I signed about boat age limits or anything to that matter except to keep the surrounding areas clean which is really hard to make dirty or not keep up in 2 days time.This place is all about rich rich people. I assume the boat is to old, but it is well kept, but the main reason I was told from Frans was that the boat was to long and the people in the homes told Frans they didn't like the length or look of it. Well I say to bad they need something better to do then to stare at boats all day lol. There were pontoon boats in there that were not as well kept as my boat. To the home owners that complained and are reading this SHAME ON YOU! thinking your better then everyone else! I am a hard working family man who just wanted a slip to keep his boat. I don't cause any problems don't play loud music or anything. To all reading this I just bought the boat A year ago its not a bad boat but not a $50,000 boat either. However it should have been expensive enough to stay there! On that note I think is because i'm not rich so if you don't have a $50,000 dollar boat don't waste your time at Trade Winds "Snob" Resort! You will get lied to and not ever really get a truthful answer to why you can't stay I was so upset I had my wife take and get the refund from them and Frans whispers to my wife these people around here can sometimes not be very nice! I'm like why did he waste time and money ect if you knew how snooty these people can be. I myself would not work for such people. Please buyer beware all readers have been warned."
