JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

"Ok. I came here 7 years ago and gave the hotel 4 stars. I have to update it to reflect the last few days staying here. This place is theoretically a great place to come for a family vacation. It was that great place 7 years ago - but they built another wing - and during peak times - this place is now unbearable. They cannot handle the size of the occupants when filled. - We waited 2 hours for our room service night 1. - Each morning - we woke up at 8:30 - and were SHUT OUT of seats by the pool. We had to sit 2 and 2 (and beg) on our family vacation. - We were quoted a 2 hour wait at 6:30 for dinner tonight. The staff clearly tries but it’s just too overwhelming. The place is a zoo and we won’t be coming back unfortunately- especially given how much this place charges for everything. Rooms are VERY basic. Hallways are full of day old room service trays/garbage. PASS unless it’s an off season time."

"The Valet guys were OUTSTANDING! They went out of their way to get me a 3:30am ride to the airport. They were super willing to be of service. The cleaning staff does a great job on the rooms and is super kind. Front desk folks are mostly good. Some better than others. Restaurants at the hotel are understaffed. Food is decent to good. Overall, good stay."

"I was excited to stay here but wasn’t thrilled. Rooms and property are very dated. Grounds are also boring. The view of the gulf is very nice and beds are comfortable. Definitely not worth the 800-1200 dollar price tag in my opinion. Staff was nice but not very welcoming. Hot tub also closed earlier then advertised. Overall a cool spot if you can find it for a cheap price but definitely don’t spend more then 400ish here"

"Stunning property, clean and updated rooms and facilities, helpful and professional staff throughout the property. We were here for a wedding and it was wonderful! Food was excellent, beach is gorgeous, restaurants are plenty and lots of variety. The property has several fitness centers (i tried them all and was usually the only one there!). This is an upscale resort that gets what it means! Only 2 complaints: 1. The service at the pool was very very slow. I waited 35 minutes for a Diet Coke and had to ask 3x for it. 2. The parking is a bit of a cluster since it’s 3rd party owned/run. I followed the hotel instructions and paid full price for my stay. My husband did not and got a night for free ($35!). Didn’t love that. Also, it is pricey. $1000 for 2 nights plus $35 for parking per night. I felt that was a lot. But i didn’t dock stars since that’s my personal opinion"

"My wife and I got married here in 2022 and then came back for our Anniversary in 2023. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we could not have asked for a better venue! Everything was exactly as we had imagined except better. The food was incredible, the views were breathtaking, and the staff was on point with everything. Katie Mascitelli was our coordinator and she was extremely organized, quick to respond, kind, and incredibly patient with us throughout the entire planning period and she made sure our day was absolutely perfect. She then went above and beyond for us AGAIN for our Anniversary! She went out of her way to make our trip extra special and we truly felt so loved by the entire JW Staff throughout our stay. So much so, that we will most likely spend every anniversary there now :) To say the least, we love this place and cannot recommend it enough."
